Using Social Media to Build Your Business | Leveraging Your Network with Vulnerability

The line between professional and personal feels so rigid it can be wounding. When is it appropriate to air your vulnerabilities and when should you keep them locked up behind closed doors? In her talk, Using Social Media to Build Your Business | Leveraging Your Network With Vulnerability,” Jessica will explore how vulnerability in a unique set of circumstances led to not only a beautiful story, but a thriving and growing business that would never have come to fruition without a trip to Spain, a global pandemic, and a well-earned title.

Stories have a transformative power to allow us to see the world in a different way than we do if we just encounter it on our own. Stories are an entry point to understanding a different experience of the world.

Storytelling – presenting a different perspective of the world – is important when it comes to connecting with each other. It gives us an opportunity to learn from another person’s experience and it can shape, strengthen or challenge our opinions and values. When a story catches our attention and engages us, we are more likely to absorb the message and meaning within it than if the same message was presented simply in facts and figures.

When someone tells their own personal story, we catch a glimpse of a view of the world that may be slightly or radically different from our own. When we see the world as they see it, or walk in their shoes, the experience can inspire empathy.

The Perfect Client: How to Find Them & Get Noticed by them on Facebook

Date: February 24, 2021 | Time: 11:30 AM CT

The Perfect Client: How to Find Them & Get Noticed by them on Facebook

Why do so many businesses swear by Facebook for their digital marketing? Because behind Google and YouTube, Facebook is the most visited website in the world. The average American adult spends 38 minutes per day on Facebook and nearly 20% of those adults have made a purchase on Facebook in the last year. Facebook is ubiquitous. You may not be using it, but I guarantee your clients (and your competitors) are. Not sure how to utilize Facebook to generate leads and clients, but you know you need to be on it?

  • Identify your perfect client and get their attention on Facebook;
  • Craft compelling and engaging Facebook posts that demonstrate your authority and credibility with your perfect client;
  • Find content that interest your perfect client, so you’re not always having to create everything scratch;
  • Measure whether your Facebook Marketing is working and attracting your perfect client; and
  • Use a few basic Facebook ads to market to your perfect client.
